To help you plan ahead the following are public holidays in Greece when banks and public offices are shut.
During the tourist season tourist services tend to stay open 7 days a week - with the exception of Easter Sunday when very few tavernas or bars are open and definitely no shops. Town and village shops are closed by law on Sundays, but tourist shops may be open.
